It’s Sunday and it’s race day 🏁 for the Cheshire 10k, but today was a bit different, we decided to run πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ in fancy dress πŸ‘— this time as crayon. πŸ– πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‚ The route was a nice steady out and back run πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ along the roads around Arley Hall πŸ›, nice to see people of the surrounding houses 🏠 coming out to support. πŸ™Œ Today’s run πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ was about having fun and cheering everyone along, enjoying the race and we made a few people smile and laugh. 🀣 This is what some races are about for me having fun 🀩 and I still finished with a great time and under 45 mins. πŸ™‚ Lovely to see my friends and meet new people at the race too. πŸ₯° What a great morning 😍, now to relax. 😊 Hope you all have a great day. πŸ˜€πŸ‘ #runner #cheshire10k #runningcommunity #fancydress #runforfun #lonelygoatrunningclub #hive22runningclub #exerciseforlife #runthroughuk #runuk #lifeofarunner #runningismytherapy #healthandfitness #fitnessjourney

Cheshire 10k at Arley hall done today in 36:12 I’ve been 50/50 about doing the race all week with feeling like rubbish , being bunged up and sinuses blocked. But made the decision to run and accepted the time I wanted wasn’t going to happen unless I felt 100% . Things don’t always go to plan and it’s hard to accept when you’ve worked hard . I was only 3 seconds off a personal best set here nearly 2 years ago and wanted to be around 60 seconds quicker today – I was a little disappointed I didn’t nip under that because I thought I had until I stopped the watch πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚ Looking forward to booking another race now and having another crack at it – plus another block of training from @highperformancerunner πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Well done to everyone who took part today ! Especially my mates who all ran BIG pb’s. The event was well organised and I felt they handled the social distancing and situation well πŸ‘πŸ» big thanks @runthroughuk for allowing us to race again! . . . . . . #running #run #raceday #cheshire10k #10k #fitness #lovetorun #fitnessmotivation #race #runhard #nextpercent #motivation #getoutside #instarunners #instarun #ukrunchat #garmin #runningmotivation

You are doing it wrong if you're not having fun! πŸ’› .. A 10km PB of 35:00 today.. Still searching for the 34:XX. Funny how a second can cause a lot of frustration. I'm happy, healthy and always learning. Key ingredients to success. Happy with my progression and I look forward to the next one. 😏 .. Well done to @runthroughuk for holding a covid secure race and thanks to the volunteers πŸ™ If you're looking for a safe event then give @runthroughuk a go.. Lots of races around the countryπŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŽ .. It was so nice to see lots of familiar faces! Well done to everyone who took part. πŸ’› .. #runnerscommunity #sundayfunday #runnersofinstagram #runforyou #runthroughuk #runstrong #bestrong #runhappy #runnersworld #runningmotivation
